Please Note: A credit card imprint deposit of 100 is required and refunded 10 days later provided there is no propeller, boat damage or fines.
OPERATION AREA
Our rental boat operational area is south side of Dublin Bay extending south as far as Killiney Bay. The Islands are not safe to visit at this point in time, however Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council are actively working on building a Pier and we look forward to having this facility.
CANCELLATIONS
a) Cancellations by us
In the event of mechanical or equipment failure, or if we have a Small Craft weather warning the trip will be cancelled at short notice.
b) Cancellations by you
A full refund up to 24 hrs before booking thereafter there will be a 50 charge
LIFE JACKETS
Bare Boat rental means youre the Captain and therefore hold full responsibility for your guests. Life jackets for adults are provided on board, and buoyancy aids for children from age 6 up wards available in the school these must be requested beforehand if required.
BYLAWS
- Safety Jackets must be worn at all times
- Dun Laoghaire Harbour bylaws shipping rules and speed restrictions must be adhered to
- Dublin Port Channel must not be entered
- DLRCC beach restrictions swim zones must be observed
Please Note: Non-adherence to the above regulations are subject to fines and your card imprint is held for 10 days to cover such fines
SAFETY
Your basic boat kit includes:
Paddle, Anchor, Coastal Flare pack, Reserve Fuel, Whistle, Pump, First Aid, warps, Bailer and auto Bilge pump. We supply a hand held VHF to skippers who hold a qualification for its use.
